New York Giants defensive end Joey Vitt will be joining the Denver Broncos on a one-year deal, the team announced on Monday.
The deal is worth $2.1 million in base salary and $750,000 in incentives, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Vitt, 32, spent the last four seasons with the Jets after spending four with the Eagles in 2014.
He was released in November 2016.
The 6-foot-2, 265-pound Vitt started his career with the Cowboys and Titans before signing with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
He has played in 13 career games with the Broncos, and recorded five sacks, seven tackles and two forced fumbles in 2017.
He will be eligible for unrestricted free agency next offseason.
